Ice Hockey in Puerto Rico
Ice hockey in Puerto Rico is overseen by the Puerto Ice Hockey Association, which was established in 2021. Since 2022, Puerto Rico has held the status of an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Puerto Rico Men’s National Team made its inaugural appearance in 2019 at the Amerigo Latam Cup held in Coral Springs, Florida. Following this, the Puerto Rico Women’s National Team debuted at the same event in 2021, and the Puerto Junior Team followed suit a year later. This page chronicles the history of both the Men’s and Women’s national teams.
