The Storyline:

This is a certified blockbuster. Canada is coming off an incredibly statement-making 4-0 shutout win over their rivals, the United States. Led by 19-year-old captain Macklin Celebrini and veteran presence Sidney Crosby, Canada looks dominant, though they will be missing defenseman Evan Bouchard after a brutal hit in the quarters. Goaltender Jet Greaves is locked in after a 34-save shutout.

They face a lethal Finland squad that easily dismantled Czechia 4-1. Backed by solid netminding from Harri Säteri and offensive driving from Henri Jokiharju and Anton Lundell, the Finns have the structure, Olympic pedigree, and defensive discipline to frustrate Canada’s high-flying offense.
