Ice Hockey in United States
Ice Hockey in the United States is Governed by USA Hockey. United States has been a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation since 1920. United States Men’s national team made their International debut in 1920. The national side has won two Gold Medals at the Olympic Games 1960 & 1980 but has not won the World Championship Gold since 1960. The Women and Junior teams made their debuts in 1990 & 1961. U.S. Women have never failed to Medal at the Olympic Games or World Championships. This page shows the history of the Men’s, Women & Junior national teams.
